Evan Abramowitz is a multifamily investment specialist whose focus is to maximize the wealth and equity of his clients all over the Portland-Vancouver metro area. His experience and skill with analyzing real estate markets, conducting financial analysis, and working with entrepreneurs serve him well as a broker.
Prior to joining Joseph Bernard Investment Real Estate, Mr. Abramowitz was the economic development coordinator at Warm Springs Economic Development Corporation on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation in Central Oregon. He provided business plan and computer assistance for Tribal Members and instructed and designed a curriculum on how to be a successful entrepreneur.
Mr. Abramowitz worked with BBPC Associates, a national real estate consulting firm in Maryland. He specialized in analyzing market data and financial analysis. He also worked in the marketing department at Pulte Homes. His duties included analyzing market trends and drafting the annual strategic marketing plan for the Raleigh, North Carolina office.
Mr. Abramowitz is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he majored in Public Policy and earned minors in Entrepreneurship and Urban Studies and Planning. He is currently working towards the Master of Real Estate Development degree through Portland State University’s School of Business.
Mr. Abramowitz received the 2011 Oregon Association of REALTORS Endowed Student Fellowship through Portland State University's Center for Real Estate. The award was the largest dispersed in the Spring 2011. As the multifamily expert, Evan writes articles for the Center for Real Estate Quarterly publication, which provides a snapshot of the commercial real estate and housing markets in the Portland region.
Mr. Abramowitz is involved in several professional organizations including Young Professionals of Portland and Toast Masters International. He also volunteers his time as a board member for ROSE Community Development Corp: a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable housing and revitalizing communities in outer southeast Portland.
Mr. Abramowitz is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina. He enjoys living in Portland, playing bass guitar, basketball, tennis, chess, running, the outdoors, and traveling.
