The city of Milwaukie, Oregon is located just south of Portland along the east side of the Willamette River.  Despite it's close proximity to Portland, Milwaukie surpisingly has a small town "feel".

This historic city was established in 1847 and features many city parks, museums, and some great sight seeing.  Some of the most popular places to visit in Milwaukie are the city's Waterfront Park, Elk Rock Island, Kellog Lake, and the Bomber Restaurant, featuring an authentic WWII B17 Flying Fortress.

The city of Milwaukie is located within the border of the Metro Urban Growth Boundary.  This boundary separates urban land from rural land, and is used to promote efficient use of land, public facilities, and services within the boundary.

Milwuakie's five largest employers include Livebridge, Inc, Precision Castparts, Warn Industries, Bount. Inc, and North Clackamas School District.
