Joseph Chaplik has more than 26 years of executive leadership experience building and guiding top-tier companies. His business knowledge, expertise, accomplishments and experience with past Fortune 500 companies have driven notable growth with his company in the commercial real estate sector.

Mr. Chaplik has personally been involved with investment real estate for 18 years and has experience with over $1B in sales volume. Having the entrepreneurial spirit, in 2005 he ventured out and co-founded Joseph Bernard Investment Real Estate, specializing in multi-family investment transactions. He has offices in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona; Portland, Oregon; Vancouver and Spokane, Washington.

Joseph Bernard Investment Real Estate has quickly become a leading real estate firm and has experienced tremendous growth over the years. It has been listed as an Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Company in America and has consistently ranked as a top commercial real estate firm by the Business Journal and Oregon Business Magazine, annually since 2012. It was also a finalist for the Business Journal Ethics in Business award, and Mr. Chaplik was awarded as a Top Forty Business Leader Under the Age of 40. He has numerous articles written on his company's success including in Fortune Magazine.

He shared his extensive knowledge on the apartment market to listeners all over the country as a frequent guest speaker on the Business Briefing with Brian Bushlach radio program, and also produces the Apartment Insider Report seminars. These seminars teach investors how to build wealth through successfully buying and selling apartments. He also participates as a guest speaker at several other investment and educational seminars.

Prior to commercial real estate, Mr. Chaplik was in management at Sprint Corporation from 1996 to 1999 in Los Angeles. In 1999, Mr. Chaplik joined Allegiance Telecom where he contributed to the growth and expansion of this nationwide high-tech telecommunications company. He served as the Sales Manager in the Los Angeles office and then the Western Division Regional Manager of National Accounts. In 2001, he served as the Vice President of the Oregon sales office which he established and was responsible for all sales and operations. He led this office to the highest profit margins as well as the lowest customer churn percentage of all 36 company locations. In 2003, he managed the Portland transition of XO Communications acquisition of Allegiance Telecom and continued serving as Vice President of sales and operations.

Mr. Chaplik earned a Bachelor of Arts from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He is a licensed real estate Broker in Arizona, Oregon and Washington, and is a member of several real estate organizations. He is an advocate for several charities including the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Shriners Children’s Hospital, The Special Olympics, Fallen Officers, Military Veterans, and other various children’s organizations. He serves in the US Marshals Posse and Maricopa County Sheriffs Memorial Fund.
