Tualatin is located 12 miles south of Portland and 30 miles north of Salem, Oregon.  It is considered one of the fastest growing communities in the state, with a population growth of 15% since 2000.  Numerous local festivals are held in Tualatin each year, including the Crawfish Festival and the annual Celebrate Tualatin Festival.  The city has also received numerous awards for its dedication to education, urban forestry, parks, and city planning.
